On 26/9/13 I contacted Sportsride via telephone & email to get a quote on replacement parts for a TGB Blade 550 quad. They are agents for TGB in SA. 1/10/13 I receive the quote, with no confirmation of stock. I accept the quote & ask for confirmation of stock on 2/10/13. The response said I would receive feedback on the same day, but never did. No contact from them until 21/10/13, after numerous calls & emails. 24/10/13 receive invoice with additional R1228.10 for courier fees. I stated that I will collect. Response is that this is for me special ordering the parts because I wasn't willing to wait the standard time for container delivery. I told them that at no time was I informed that they would have to special order the goods for me. No email or telephone call said this. They said they would relook it, but came back to say that the Director said that they did tell me via phone of this (29/10/13). I paid on 30/10/13, but could not get goods immediately. Only available on 2/11/13. I collected on 6/11/13. I had to constantly follow up via email & phone to get the quote, stock confirmation, invoice etc. Poor communication, poor customer service & clearly misleading customers!
