Lovemore park vet - poor billing

We took our pet to Lovemore Park Vet earlier this year when our pet was ill. Our pet died and I requested on the same day to pay the total bill. I was given the full amount and made payment. I noticed later that other claims were coming through. Is this an attempt to exploit more funds from customers? I no longer have trust with regards to billing with Lovemore Park Vet.
