Applied for position on website on internet. Response from agent - "Why have you been only doing temporary assignments? " My response: Because there are no jobs and thousands of unemployed people - you should know this. I am sure you are aware that it is very much BEE everywhere. Got call from agent. Attacked me verbally - she did not like the tone of my e-mail. Fully aware of what was going with economy been in the business for 20 years. Barked at me to give her my I D. Said I had a sharp tongue, company where this position is will not tolerate this. Tried to defend myself from this verbal attack mentioning have had numerous compliments from companies I had worked for. Told me too far to travel, overtime, dangerous to travel, very busy job. Negativity all round. Asked her advice regarding the position. Kept on about tone of my e-mail. Phone call was going nowhere. Said thank you, goodbye, switched phone off. Received e-mail letters bold, blocked in yellow stating the following: BECAUSE OF YOUR RUDENESS YOU HAVE BEEN DELETED FROM THE DATABASE. So uncaring, rude, and unprofessional. Unemployed people going through sheer / distress do not do not deserve this kind of treatment.
