Applying for posision in Finance

I applied for a Financial Operations Manager position by phoning Network recruitment in Pretoria. The consultant told me to send my CV through. The next day I e-mailed the consultant to find out if she received my CV. She replied that she can't help me, because I am registered with another person there.
I phoned her the next day and she said she will look into that. She then later replied by e-mail the position was on hold. THIS WAS VERY STRANGE.
I then asked a friend to phone Network Recruitment and ask is the position is still available and the consultant replied "YES SENT YOUR CV."
The next day I phone Network recruitment and ask the consultant they are you telling me the position is on hold. Her reply to me is that the position is now a EE position.
I then find out through another recruitment company that the position is still open and anyone may apply.

Network Finance in PTA is so unprofessional and is playing with peoples lives. Think twice before sending your CV to them.
