Damage to vehicle

Good day
My car was involved in an accident on the N3 highway just before the Buccleuch interchange!
The damage was quite bad to the vehicle caused by a cable barrier which was placed behind a few pieces of channel Iron that was bolted upright to the road surface! The very next day i went back to the incident area to find the pieces of metal were removed from the road surface and replaced by an armco barrier! The cable barrier that did the damage was also replaced as suspension parts etc of my vehicle were severed from the vehicle and could not be removed from the cables. I feel that the damage would not have occured if correct barriers were in place at the time instead of pieces of iron bolted to the road surface to form a barrier!
I have been told to call this number and that number and been directed everywhere except where it is relevant!
I would really appreciate help with this matter!
