Losing everything due to medical baord

I would like to know, is there a time limit to finalizing a medical board procedure. My documentation was handed in on the 16th of May 2013 and this morning I phoned the pension department again and it is still not submitted. It is now 147 days and it is still at the Defense force side. They told me as soon as it is registers the pension department take more and less 90 days to complete there part. Yesterday my medical aid phoned to inform me that my medical aid was terminated, today I received a letter to say I have 7 days to make payment on my house or I will lose that as well. I am a single mother and do not have any other income. My contributions was paid every month and will be paid as soon as I get my income back after completion of the pension department. I did save up form this but it is taking to long now. I have more that 20 years service in the defense force. During this time I tried and struggled to build up what I have today. Must one loose everything because people does not care to do there work. I feel I am wasting my time and lots of money on airtime to phone, because I just do not get any clear answers.
