U-Bag fails to deliver Service (again)

As a regular traveller, I make use of additional luggage courier services. Well, this time was the second time I used U-Bag and it seems like true to their nature, they managed to get this wrong a second time.

The first time some 2 years ago from South Africa to Vietnam. It took them over 3 weeks to clear customs in Vietnam and I had to pay import tax on my own second hand clothes. I was eventually reimbursed.

This time, I travelled from SA to New Zealand. All went well with the extra luggage, up to the point where it was delivered to my house in New Zealand. I contacted U-Bag and specifically requested them to contact me in advance before delivery in order for me to be at home and to take receipt. In their infamous wisdom, they decided not to contact me and to leave the bags in front of my house. I was out of town and the bags was left open to the public to make their pick for the night.

Needless to say, I was not impressed by this lack of interest and care for my personal belongings.

In trying to obtain feedback from U-bag on why this has happened, they keep on responding that they are awaiting feedback from their service delivery branch / courier company.
