Blush Studio contacted me for a photo shoot (after a friend gave them my number). According to telephonic & e-mail conversations, there would be finger snacks before the shoot, and during the editing of the photographs, I would receive a hand and foot massage. The extent of the snacks upon arrival were 3 dried-out koeksisters and some fruit-juice left over in the small fridge. No massages were given. The studio looked dodgy from the start; there were no company signs anywhere, and upon entering Blush Studio, the decor looked very unprofessional. According to their e-mail, I would get exposure and my photographs would be sent to companies like Edgars etc. After waiting an entire hour in boredom for the shoot to start, and then finally having the shoot, I was told by "Graphic designer" Nick, that instead of the initial requested amount of R150 stated in the e-mail, he would charge me R750, and only if I bought the Photo-package of the requested amount, would I get exposure to professional companies. As I finished my shoot, I heard a woman complaining about the exact same 'misfortunes'.
