False advertising of pet friendly accommodation

We booked pet friendly accommodation at this establishment via a website. We advised that we had 3 medium dogs that would be accompanying us. Within 20 minutes of our arrival two of our dogs were injured, one by the electric fence that surrounds the property, the other by barbed wire installed on the grounds that cut one of her arteries. We had to rush to the vet (6pm on a Saturday) and spend R1100 on vet bills to have her stitched up. We couldn't stay there and advised the owner that it was unsafe for our pets and that we were leaving. She replied that she would never allow dogs on her property but was forced to do so by Pierre as we had already paid in full. The website liaised with Pierre but he refuses to refund us our money. We then mailed him directly but our e-mails went unanswered. The unit was also filthy and did not resemble the photos. The place is clearly not maintained. Stay away from red pepper!
