Debit order unknown

My mom gets a pension from goverment and on the 01/08/2013 she went to the post office in pretoria north when she withdraw her money she saw that there is 590 rand was missing from her account when she called post bank head office the said to my mom they can't do anything and that they can't even over turn the debit order they also said she must close the account and open a new one that she can't do then she have to wait 3 mouths for her money
