CONMAN - SHOCKING SERVICE DEL BY AUTH WAP DEALER!

On the 17/07/13, I took my WAP 5000 High Pres Cleaner to Kew Cleaning Services cc in Alrode South who are Auth Wap Distributors, for repairs. I was met by Barry Inman and Jason.

Jason recieved the machine from me & I told him it was not coming on. He then plugged the machine in & saw that it was not coming on. I requested them to keep the machine and give me a quote for repairs. My machine was not booked in in any way, however having their buss card and them having mine I left the machine in good faith.

The morning of the 18/07/13 I recieved a call from Barry Inman who informed me that it was uneconomical to repair my machine as ALL the seals were leaking & the machine was about 20 yrs old & spares were not avail & Wap only guarenteed spares for 10 years. He said the repairs would come to aprox R4000 & suggested that I buy a new machine, an E130, which was similar to my machine & is new technology for R3962 vat.

To cut a long story short - I opened the machine myself to investigate & found an electrical lug off of the on/off switch and the incoming neutral wire had been DELIBERATELY cut. After reconnectiong the wires the machine worked 100% with NO SEALS LEAKING!
