I and my wife recently booked a nights accomodation at Holme Lodge B&B on the 4th June 2013, to attend a family funeral. The website advertised "FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST" Cheryl was our host, only to be told the morning of the breakfast we were seated and asked what eggs we wanted and we were serverd with our eggs as per order along with 2 sausages the size of my little finger and a large helping of tomato & onion slush. Other guests that were seated at the same and only table as us, requested bacon, but were told they had bacon the day before and could NOT have any to day, we ordered tea the day before, and could not change and have coffee if you wanted at the table. Cereals were 4 to choose from, being bran, muesli, little ring cherios, and another type bran cereal. Each seating had a very tiny bowl with not more than 3 teaspoons of yoghurt, toast to order with only marmalade. Our room was double bed, and when lying down you roll to the centre of the bed. On our travel down from Jhb we were told to arrive before a certain time as there would be no body to assist us on arrival because we would arrive when we would be interferring in their lunch time. We felt very unwelcome there.
