Two days for an overnight courier service

On Thursday 06 June 2013 at 15:15:53 I handed a parcel for overnight courier service to David Mogashoa. He assured me the parcel would be delivered the next day, before 10h30. As stipulated on the waybill, number TC195817293ZA. The parcel was not delivered on the promised date or time. Speaking to the helpdesk was of no use.

On Monday 10 June 2013 at 11h15, I escalated and spoke to Mosego Maake, she is the assistant to Mr Mtibe Molefe. She made promises and find out what is going on. She called me back to say that I am mistaken and that I only handed in the parcel on 07 June and not 06 June. What a surprise! I have the documentation from the Houghton Post office clearing showing the date and time when I handed the item in. I scanned and e-mailed the details to Mosego at 12:45 on MOnday 10 June 2013. NEVER HEARD ANOTHER WORD FROM MOSEGO MAAKE!

I paid R33.98 for a service that was not delivered. The parcel was only delivered on Monday 10 June 2013 at 12:47. That is two business days later than promised. I demand a refund as by then the documentation was too late to have met the SARS deadline.
