SA Post Office
Post office does not understand overnight delivery

Miscellaneous

I used the post office to courier an envelope to the SA Police Clearance certification division. I used the overnight door to door service. I mailed it on 15 January at 9:57 in the morning and was charged R110.80 for it. Tracking number is TC402695108ZA. Judging from all the complaints on this site it is thus no surprise that the overnight envelope is still sitting with Portia at the Pretoria post office. I need that clearance certificates from the police and they take 14 days to process it, It is now going to be 4 - 5 days late, maybe even more, since the post office only reads the HP complaints once a week it seems. Be that as it may, if my clearance certificate is not in my hands by 30 January and I can't get my visa in time, I will be suing the post office for loss of income to the tune of R440 000. I'm sure they will phone me and apologise profusely. The bottom line is I paid for a service, and they didn't deliver, like always and their apologies aren't going to put money in my bank account. Second item in less than a month of mine they did not deliver. See you in court. PS: I also want my R110.80 back, since you obviously didn't do what I paid for.
