Empty promises

At the end of Feb '13 I contacted Winonah from Windrush to enquire about a price and delivery time of kids bunk beds. She quoted me a price and said lead time would be 10 working days. She said that I had better pay my deposit into their account as around Easter time they get busy, which I did. We waited 4 weeks, every time -it was me having to follow up! After the fifth week, she offered us a small side table as a peace offering because she had messed us around so much. Come delivery time guess what? No side table!! And she insisted on full payment of the balance. We kept back R200 as she said she would send the small table the next week & we agreed we would pay her the R200 balance then. To date we have heard NOTHING from her. We found her to be very rude & we are not the first to complain about her on HelloPeter. Heed the advice from others when placing an order. We certainly wish we had!! And by the way, the ladder on the kids bunk bed simply rests against the top bed. My husband has had to make adjustments to it as I certainly don't want my children falling from that height!!! Unacceptable!!!
