EMPTY PROMISES TO PENSIONER

My father moved in with us after selling his house and most of his belongings and his TV was given to my little sister (which is also a diligent TV license payer same as we are). We have been calling, faxing and emailing since December 2011 trying to get them to cancel the TV license for my dad. We received so many empty promises and they have now handed him over to the attorneys.

What other avenues can I follow to get them to cancel the TV license for my father? I feel so drained and exhausted. it's like shouting against thunder. What is even more sickening, we pay those people their monthly salary for this back service or the lack thereof.
