Not canceling tv license

I don't know what to do any more. I am frustrated, and very disappointed in the service (or the lack of service) from the accounts department from Sabc.

On numerous occasions, my husband cancelled his tv license, with documented proof. Dating back to 2001. In 2007 again, 2012 again and still they have not cancelled the license. We get harassed by their lawyers for not paying the cancelled license? I have proof of communicating to them several times during this period. With out any assistance from them. Names, dates, telephone numbers, fax numbers, letters, affidavits. Proof of them, receiving each one of them.

My father died 3 years ago and the same thing. Faxed his death certificate to them with copy of ID and cancellation letter. They refuse to cancel his license. I also have all the letters and papers to proof it.

What must happen before they do their work and cancel the licenses? Is a death certificate
, not enough proof? Or affidavits dating back 11 years before? It seems that they are incompetent to do their work properly and now innocent people must pay for their lack of competency.

I would like this matter resolved once and for all!!
