PHONE CALLS DESPITE SETTELEMENT OF ACCOUNT

Settled two of my accounts at the store and have in my possession receipts that confirm the account balances are zero. However, was repeatedly contacted by MBD regarding the two accounts. They stated that were outstanding balances which after repeated disputes I eventually agreed to pay. The consultant provided me with an e-mail address to which I duly sent proof of payment withing 30 minutes of agreeing to settle the balances to jsut get them off my case. This e-mail was sent on 26 March 2013 at 1:54pm. I was contacted today (2013.04.04) regarding the same accounts. They have not received the proof of payment.

I am not sure where this money is gone to as the very first consultant provided me with another debtors reference number. I most probably would have settled his buddy account if I did not bother to again verify the reference number. Reuqested the consultant I spoke to today to follow up the payments and revert to me by the close of business. She cannot do that as she has to now send a follow-up to another department. Seems like there is no co-oridnation at MBD hence payments go missing and consumers remain in debt forever.
