I had an account with MTN and was paid up in 2001. VVM is busy sending me threatening me with sms that they confirm my arrangements and expect payment of r12, 216.32 by end of March. I never call them to accept the debt becasue I know its paid up. If I was still owing then the debt has prescribed. They consultant said she has been having this debt since 2001 but they only start sending threatening sms to both work and private phones in 2012. I wrote letters, faxes and e-mails to them to no luck. I am left with no oprtion but to go the protection order way.
