Lack of CARE causes COSTLY LOSS

Schwellnus Incorporated, were selected to effect transfer of a property I purchased. One of the duties they were entrusted to perform was to follow up/ appoint a consultant to obtain a clearance certificate from council for rates. This was left unattended for 6 months by them. When I tried to follow up, they were shirty and rude-as though I was a nuisance.

I eventually appointed my own consultant who got the figure in one day at a cost of R 600.00

The contractual interest caused by the delay cost me over R 50, 000.00 on a property worth T 600, 000.00.

Their lack of care cost me close to 10% of the value of the house.

They still charged me for the certificate they did not obtain!

In my professional opinion, and in all my dealings with attorneys, Schwellnus Inc have to be by far the worst example in the legal proffession of client care and professional ethics.

They have no regard for either of these business and professional principles.
