On the 14th of January I received a call from this company about my FINCHOICE account, I made an arrangement with the guy that called me for 500 per month, on the 23rd I received a sms from the company stating that: BALANCE on the account is 10430.17 (I have the sms as proof) on the 4th of February I made a payment of R500. Today I called and a very rude guy with a Zimbabwean accent gave me a balance of 10045.31 which is fair enough since I paid R500 meaning some of the money went into their interest charges. I then requested a settlement amount and the guy said I cant get one there's no settlement on this account because there's no formula calculated on it, I then requested for his manager which he refused but later gave me head Office number I called and 30 minutes later I receive a call stating that a settlement is 10060.31 and I told the lady it cant be, I asked for a balance and I was told its 12000 something. How possible is that? within a space of 3 weeks I have been charged almost 1800 extra! The guy earlier on told me the interest is 16% per year, how did I move from 10045 to 10060 then 12000? Something is very wrong here, a settlement should be 30-50%
