I WAS UNDER DEBT REVIEW SINCE 2014 THOSONG DEBT COUNSELORS, THEN 2017 I WAS BEING THREATENED BY WESBANK THAT THEY ARE NO LONGER RECEIVING FUNDS FOR MY VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH I WAS BEING DEBITED, I CALLED MY DEBT COUNSELOR WHO KEPT ON PROMISING THAT SHE WILL FOLLOW UP WITH CONSUMER FRIEND AS THEY WERE PAYING MY ACCOUNTS, I DECIDED TO CANCEL THEIR SERVICE AS IT WAS USELESS TO ME AND THEY PROVIDED THE CANCELLATION LETTER AND REMOVED MY NAME UNDER DEBT REVIEW, I SETTLED MY CAR THE VERY SAME TIME WITH WESBANK I ARRANGED WITH OTHER CREDITORS I PAID INSTALLMENTS TILL I MANAGED TO SETTLE MY ACCOUNTS.
NOW ON THE 19TH OF JANUARY 2019 I SETTLED WOOLWORTH ACCOUNT WHEN I REQUESTED THE ACCOUNT TO BE CLOSED THEY SEND ME FROM PILLAR TO POST.
ON THE 22ND OF MARCH I CONTACT CONSUMER FRIEND (BY E-MAIL TO ASK FOR MY WOOLWORTH ACCOUNT TO BE CLOSED AND TO REQUEST THE PAID UP LETTER, I WAS REQUESTED TO SEND BANK STATEMENT AND COPY OF ID BECAUSE THERE’S A REFUND DUE OF R 19996 I SENT THE DOCUMENT AS REQUESTED, THEREAFTER I ASKED WHEN CAN I EXPECT THE REFUND I WAS TOLD THAT ITS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.
I ASKED HOW CAN THEY CONFIRM THE AMOUNT IF ITS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION, THEY REPLIED AGAIN APOLOGIZING AND CONFIRMING THAT THE AMOUNT CONFIRMED WILL BE REFUNDED AND THE BELOW EMAIL WAS THEIR LAST RESPONSE:

I REQUEST THEM TO PAY MY REFUND SO THAT I CAN USE THE MONEY TO SETTLE ANTHER ACCOUNT ITS MY MONEY AFTER-ALL
