Absolute SHOCKING UNETHICAL practice!!!

My wife worked there for a couple of months as a secretary. After various early mornings and late nights and very poor treatment from one of the directors, she could not tolerate working there and resigned. The contract specified that she had to give 2 months notice or a penalty of R50 000 would be charged for damages supposedly suffered by the firm. On a daily basis the staff of this firm gets shouted at and belittled by this director at the Table View branch and I'm sure that all past employees would be happy to testify to this. After longer than a year after leaving them, she received summons demanding R50 000. DAC took judgement against her as they wouldn't accept repayment terms. The Sheriff came to our house and wrote up some furniture. We then made contact with Ms Gillespie who is a director at the firm, but our e-mails and telephone messages was ignored. Last week the Sheriff took furniture out of our house, while we were not there and left our door & security gate open. The furniture that they took does not belong to my wife and after I have given them invoices, affidavits & our ante nuptial contract as proof, the feedback we got yesterday is 'It's not my problem'.
