Overchanging interest

As from 2007 I'm paying school fees for my children through them. What they do they double the amount owing, on 1 case they trippled the amount. My concern is why they are doing that since I pay every month and I didn't take a loan that has to have so much interest. Today they deducted again and they say it's interest of the amount I finished to pay in March this year, it's R5393.94 and I was owing R8200 and I started to pay R200 a month from 2009.
