Unable/unwilling to provide info, unprofessional

I keep getting sms's for accounts that I do not have. I contacted them and they confirmed that there is an account that was handed over to them. The account in question has been closed for 10 years. I contacted the company who apparently handed it over and they are unaware of it. They gave me the number for the manager at MBD but the staff refused to let me speak to her! I see there are many, many complaints related to this company. Next stop Carte Blanche.
