Passing transfer on Damaged Property

At the conclusion of the contract of sale of our home, we requested that our attorneys be used to pass transfer but the agent and seller chose rather to use STBB. We took occupation of the property a few days before transfer was set to be passed. The day before transfer was scheduled we contacted STBB via email&through the estate agent to tell them to postpone passing transfer as there were major problems with the property. They completely ignored our request and passed transfer anyway with no discussion with us. We called them and were told transfer was passed to which we responded we were most unhappy. We then asked and were told purchase price had still not been released. HEIN was unavailable so we told NURAAN (his secretary) not to release funds at all until the situation had been fully assessed. I also sent them an email to that effect. They released funds anyway and hadnt at all informed us of this (We found out a long time later via the agent) When we approached them for assistance they washed their hands of the matter. We had no forum for discussion and no time to seek aid and now we are severely prejudiced and are without funds to fix the ever worsening damage and seek legal redress
