Arrogant call consultants - no co-operation

I am submitting this complaint on behalf of an employee who has requested assistance as he has been unable to get any information himself.
On 18/04/2013 he received a sms advising him legal action was about to be taken against him on behalf of FNB. He went FNB Athlone to find out what it was for and they were unable to find anything on his name but advised home to call the number given on the sms. He did and requested a copy of all the documentation from the gentleman - none arrived. Two weeks later he received another call and requested the documents again - to date nothing has been received. Today he received another threatening sms. He has not had a FNB account for about 10years, has been resident at the same house for more than 15yrs and has had no correspondence from FNB in that time. In terms of the Prescription Act this alleged debt has now expired and FNB has not followed procedure in advising the client of any late, missed payments or outstanding debts in that time period - prior to prescription or thereafter until now - 10yrs later! He is not prepared to be bullied or threatened into paying anything without proof and once he has that he will seek legal advise.
