Please Help? Do I have a case here?

Last year I made an arrangement with someone calling me from the MBD group setting an arrangement with them to collect take their payment of R500 a month to settle the money I owed to Foschini. I knew I was going on a sabbatical and that means resigning from work which happened this year around February. I then made an arrangement to first settle all my debts and be debt free by the time I am out of work. Recently I decide I know what I wan't to do so I am going to start looking for a job and get myself to work at a financial district (banks and etc) but interestingly I get a call from my agency that they found me a great position at a bank BUT they also found a default from Foschini when they were doing their checks. I called the MBD and they said they took all my details but they never took the payments because their system failed them??? What does this mean for me now? I need your help desperately because my reputation has been put on the line and I can't pursue my career in the field I would like to because of a failed system!!! I feel very fustrated because before I left work I made sure I settle all these debts and now THIS...? PLEASE HELP!!!
