Quick to summons but no response to correspondents

I have been diagnosed with a chronic illness called fibromyalgia. Due to the severity and deterioration of my physical and mental well being, I have not been able to work. My specialists have now recommended medical boarding after a year of treatment and no significant change. I have been ill since March 2012 therefore have not received an income since than. Due to this, my standard bank loans have gone into arrears and I was handed over to LGR attorney's. Unfortunately due to my ill health, I am on high doses of sleeping tablets and do not take any calls due to the migraine, increased sleeping patterns and something called fibrofog which is a sympom of fibromyalgia.
As a result LGR attorney's have now summoned me. I've sent mail after mail explaining my situation and explaining that I have personal policy protection on the loans however standard bank insurance brokers are still investigating my claims a year later and have been very disappointing to say the least.
I have not received any correspondents from LGR not even an acknowledgement of receving my mails. this is disappointing as well as I feel like there is no customer service and I am being ignored but have been summonsed
