I ordered 4 bar stools from 5Rooms on Nov 25th, paid for it, only to be told on Dec 9th that there was no stock available. That in itself is not a train smash, but this is what upset me and why I want to be removed from there mailing list and will NEVER USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN:
! Other suppliers told me they will only have stock in Jan2014, so when I saw the listing on 5Rooms website, I PHONED THEM FIRST and asked to CHECK AVAILABILITY, which they CONFIRMED.
2. Two days after I paid for my order, they advertised the same bar stool on a buy 2 get 1 free promotion. THAT WAS FALSE ADVERTISING, BECAUSE THEY KNEW THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY STOCK.
3. This whole exercise means that I will not have bars tools for my brand new holiday house, because when they took my order and my money, I stopped looking for other stools, and now it is too late to find suitable bars tools because suppliers are closing for the holidays.
The personnel I spoke to at 5Rooms, were very helpful and kind (Rudolph, and a lady whose name I did not get, and Barry), but the business integrity is flawed.
