Our grandfather was hospitalized in the ICU of Bayview Hospital 12 April 2013. Sadly he passed away the next day, of heart failure.
We as family who do not live in Mossel Bay, went through to see him and support his wife at the hospital.
The nurses whom I saw did not one greet us, horribly sour, and when we sat by his bedside, we were not left alone to speak to him. There wasn't even a blanket or a comfortable chair offered for his wife, whom wanted to be by his bedside. Other hospital groups I have been to at least offer a lazy boy or some sort.
The ICU also didn't have a close waiting room, so we were stuck to wait, standing in the hall to get a chance to see him, we were in the hospital the whole day, because we don't live nearby, don't you make provisions for situations like these! When we stood in the hall a horribly obese nurse (sister) walked by referring to us as "obstacles".
This gives the whole Life group a bad name.
