Bankmed a complete rip-off!!!

My wife gave to our beautiful baby girl in November of 2012 and there was co-payment for the doctor's services. I have sufficient saving in my bankmed account for them to refund my account for a legitemate medical expense. It is now four months later and I am still struggling to get refunded! Bills have been sent from my side and from the poor doctor's office assistant, who has been very accomodating. We have had to add names to the bill, never mind that the bill has my wife's details on it including medical aid policy number!

I even had to send after a month of no one getting back to me because it was "faded" - only to find out the consultant I sent it to printed from a printer with low ink level on their side!

Bankmed is a complete rip-off. I have spoken to other employee (I work for a bank) & they all agree and the only reason why they are with the medical aid is because its forced upon you by the employee. Which is a sad case coz the monthly deductions are more than I was paying with Discovery (which was excellent). Discovery's Basic has better benefits than their "Savings" plan.

To anyone working in Financial Industry I would advise you to STAY AWAY do all you can!!
