Cannot honour promotion

Over the weekend of 6th April 2013 we (6 people) visited Euphoria Golf Estate after taking up a promotion. This promotion consisted of unlimited golf, 1 night accommodation, cocktails, halfway lunch and drinks (water). So we booked for this specific date and made a full payment of R4800 back in February and confirmed the dates. We also pre-booked our golf for the 6th and 7th which was confirmed back in Feb. To our surprise when we contacted Euphoria Golf Estate on 5 April we were advised that we can only play one round of golf due to a competition that is taking place on the Sunday. Now what I do question is whether this competition was organised on the 5th or could they have advised us as guests weeks/months in advance in order to consider booking different dates, taking into consideration the date the full amount was settled. In addition, they provided us with cocktail specials/vouchers yet they had no cocktails at the bar. So in my opinion, better planning is required in order to deliver on this promotion or just scrap this promotion completely. What I would compliment them on is the fact that they gave all 6 of us a free buffet dinner, worth it, still not convinced.
