I took my daughter to the above doctor. when i made an appointment, i was told the amount isR275 consultation unless a patient is given treatment then it will be more. i then mDE AN APPOINTMENT BEcuse i knew i could afford R275 and knowing that its only a check up she will not need treatment. to my suprise when we were done, i went to the front lady to make a payment, but the lady told me she will email statement. i told her i had cash with me but she insisted on me waiting for the statement. i just did not understAND WHY AND SHE ALSO DID not explain further besides saying she cant print at the moment. about a few weeks in December 2012, i received email with statement with a huge amount of about R500 plus. I immediaately called the doctors room telling the lady she has made a mistake. she insisted its mine and not the R275 i was told because of some reason i did not understND. I then told her i will send the statement to medical aid if they pay its fine but if they dont i will only pay what i knew i owe. as a result medical aid paid a certain portion which was waqy above R275. so i considered my bill settled, the rest of the balance R352.12 i cannot pay.
