Fedhealth Medical Scheme
Dont like paying members or there doctors

I am 2nd level from the top in Fedhealth. My daughter had her tonsils lasered as she was deemed to young to have full tonselectomy, due to morbidity issues etc. Medical aid refused to pay for the hospital, doctors or E.N.t and i was told by a consultant that it was deemed a cosmetic surgery. forgive me but my daughter is only 22 months old, i would not be sending her for cosmetic surgery. they eventually paid me back for the hospital after about 6 weeks and then the aneathatist, later to find out that they took it out of my savings and not my hospital cover. they still havent paid the E.N.T and they are now phoning me and asking me for the money, furthermore we have lost the discount from the E.N.T for early payments. Fedhealth's service has been absolutely disgusting and the fact that before the op my daughter had had tonselitus 8 times in 7 months, and after the op hasnt been sick at all, i feel i made the right decision as her quality of life has improved ten fold. but low and behold we hold a payment back from fedhealth, they are completely and utterly pathetic.
