Unfair treatment

I was admitted on the 5Mrch. After being in hospital for 5days I was told that Discovery is only paying for 3days. My GP admitted me as she needed me under observation ASAP. Their reason for declining admission is that I'm currently on a waiting period. I feel Discovery does not treat all their members equally. I have on good authority that a family member joined Discovery the beginning of this month, despite the conditions listed, she did not get any waiting period. She did not even get the waiting period of 3mnths which is claimed to be standard practice. Why do some clients get treated differently than others? I feel it's unfair and discriminating. I was forced to be discharged even though I'm not feeling well. My doctor requested that I be admitted to a different hospital. First they approved my admission then I get called back 5minutes later and told it's declined. I can't believe that Discovery will refuse me medical care. I am so demotivated. I feel hopeless. I consider Discovery as the best medical aid but I'm having my doubts. I really feel that I'm not getting the treatment I deserve. It seems that Discovery does not want to assist me. Why on earth do I have a medical aid!
