I recently joined Camaf, not through my own choosing, but because I moved jobs. Within a month, my chronic medication has been rejected and when trying to move onto a more expensive plan with them they have to forward my request to a manager who has taken weeks to reply.

I am currently having to by pills on a day to day basis with pharmacies charging me on an acute rate. Whenever I try through chronic, the same response: Authorisation waiting!

I have tried numerous times to contact them, when they said they will get back to me; to no avail.

The last time I sent a mail after phoning them, I was requested to provide my membership number for them to action my request. Surely you can read from my name on my work email address which member they are dealing with!

I am paying ridiculous rates and have even had to try go to my doctor to try get codes from him on which I can attempt to get medication approved by CAMAF.

What the is going on?

Within 20 days, I have not been able to change up to a more expensive plan let alone get my own CHRONIC medication.
