Bestmed Medical Scheme
No chronic medication

My grandmother joined bestmed in march this month and I think she really made a mistake. Her chronic medication has still not been approved and the doctors assistant send the things through and she has even told us she does not know what to do anymore. Well she is a pensioner and does not earn a lot of money and since you people request the same reports over and over it has cost her over R2000 and she has borrowed the money to pay the chronic medication. WHY DOES SHE THEN HAVE MEDICAL AID FOR? I want this to be sorted out as soon as possible this has already been 3 months and still nothing and we are now really getting frustrated because she really needs this medication and no one does nothing. The requested documents have been given to the medical aid and its still not sorted out. She has a heart condition and it serious. If this is not sorted out as soon as possible I'm going to let her go back to the other medical aid where she did receive service and all the medication. Three tablets was approved so far of 7 and I hope she also gets refunded for the medication she has bought as she has borrowed money for the chronic medication and STILL HAD TO PAY FOR A MEDICAL AID.
