SOWETO HOTEL A Valentine's Day

After Having called the Hotel to Book for their Valentines Dinner, a gent by the name of Kgomotso promised to send an e-mail containing the invoice.
He explained that the process to be simple:
- receive the invoice
- make a payment with reference to the Valentines dinner
- mail back Proof of Payment to confirm the booking

The mail did not come through as was expected so I made a followup call.
This time a Lady by the name of Lydia attended to the call.

She did not seem to know much about the Dinner...

She told me that the booking was not necessary and that we just need to come to the Hotel and make the payment 'on site'

I drove 38km from the north to Soweto Hotel and was told on arrival that we had to book first.
they didnt have a table for two and wanted to accommodate us at a sharing table!!!

Needless to say we turned this timid offer down, drove a further 40km's back to conventional dinning spots

considering that this was valentines day it would have been great to have had accurate info to begin with!!
