Noise Levels

I recently spent 3 days in the CCU at Sunninghill's Netcare facility. It was the worst experience of my life. It is impossible to stay sane with the level of the jackhammer and drilling noises, which started at 08:30 and finished at 16:00 every day.

Even the doctors gave up listening to heartbeats and breaths through their stethoscopes; they couldn't hear a thing over the drilling sounds. I couldn't get out of there fast enough, no matter how ill I was.

They should be ashamed of themselves for subjecting their patients, who are trying to recover, to such conditions.
