DAYLIGHT ROBBERY

My father has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a year ago. Working with Fedhealth has been extremely frustrating from the start. I will not even mention all the other cases, but it's been a constant pushing and pulling from our side due to this organization's poor service. At this point my father has developed serious jaundice as a result of him being without chemo for almost 2 months. We have been waiting approval for the two prescribed drugs. After more than a month after requesting the approval we were informed that one of the drugs were not approved. We were also told that we need to resubmit for the second drug. (Why??? The request for both the drugs was sent through already!) How long will it take for this one to go through?! All the while my father is without treatment! The doctors have discovered that the tumor has grown within this time. He is starting to have pain and swelling now and we are praying that he can get treatment asap.
Our gripe is this, my dad has been faithfully being paying medical aid for more than 50 years. Why does he have to fight for his own hard-earned money. It's his money! Never had my dad ever had to make use of his medical aid over the years except for the odd trip to the doctors. His life is in these people's hands and there is no sense of urgency from them. One cant help to think they prolong these matters in order to eventually not have to pay the funds. How would they feel it was their love-one who needed emergency medical care? I am sure there are other families that have experienced this too. Something has to be done. These people are criminals and need to be held accountable. I would be very careful for the looming judgement for this 'murder' and 'robbery' in the after life.
