Firstly, Im not surprised that Eagle Vision does not respond to complaints, as their lack of constructive feedback is exactly the crux of the complaint here.

I bought a pair of glasses at the end of last year from the Northgate branch. (paid in full by myself, not a medical aid). The service and customer care at the Northgate branch is absolutely phenomenal, but when a defect was noted on my, slightly expensive, pair of glasses, I took it back on 18 January 2014 as it was not even a month old when I noticed the defect.

The lady explained that it will have to be sent to their head office. Long story short, their head office is simply not giving feedback ans support to the customers or the Northgate branch. I managed to speak to Dr Graham Bennetto who is rude, arrogant and has not delivered on his promise to let me know by close of business today (06/02/2014) whatprogress they had with my pair of glasses.

The service received from him is completely unacceptable. But I should have known when he was that rude over the phone with one of his patients/customers.

To other optometrist: if you recruit, consider the statff at the Northgate Eagle Vision.
