Read the wording carefully on the website

We recently over Christmas went to Mozambique and made a booking at Sunset Lodge based upon the contents of their website. When we arrived at Sunset Lodge we were immediately dismayed to note that what was portrayed on the website was not what the Lodge was like in reality. There's no security and we were warned by staff members and the lodge manager not to leave anything outside of the rooms because of. It's situated effectively in the middle of a local village and the room that we stayed in was uncomfortably close, from both the noise and privacy point of view, to other local dwellings. We were constantly harassed by people, attempting to sell us their souvenirs, who came right up onto the stoop of the chalet and were incredibly persistent. Following the "hawkers" came the children begging for sweets or money. The accommodation itself was filthy (one pot in the cupboard still had whatever it was lasted use to cook in it) and nowhere near the beach. The website and pamphlet is craftily worded to create the impression that it is near the beach. The bathrooms were dirty, old and decrepit. Read the wording carefully on the website because it is in my view misleading.
