Confused And Need Help

The Medical Aid I had with the above mentioned company was cancelled by Discovery and the given reason at the time was that I had failed to provide them with some information regarding my overall health. Spoke with some useless call centre agent who tried explaining the reason why the scheme was cancelled. I made peace with and I moved on. It was clear to me that Discovery wanted noting to do with me and because I failed to inform them of my health I was a. Now according to me, I owed this company nothing and if there was money owing they would should have informed me when the plan was being cancelled but the company failed to do that in writing or calls nor did the agent. Three or 4 if not 5 months later I receive a letter with a tone that is as scary as Mugabe himself demanding that I pay them R1300.10 and I am like, "for what? ".
I need someone to call me and explain to me about how I came to owe you this much money. and as if the written communication isn't bad, I now get texts saying you will blacklist me and I am in this pitch black room confused.
I need someone to call me ASAP regarding this matter.
