The Wedge Optometrist
Optometrist charges R2000 for consultation!

I bought a voucher on WICOUNT for a consultation and discount on spectacles at The Wedge Optometrist.
I didn't end up getting my spectacles there because even with the voucher, it was overpriced.
My mother (who has never had eyesight problems) needed to go to the optometrist and I called to ask the normal price of a consultation, I was told that it was R380, but my mother was charged almost R2000 for a normal consultation with no spectacles, no additional special tests.
When I called to ask to speak to the optometrist, she was unavailable.
I then emailed and asked her about it on the 21st of November, she did not ever respond.
This is completely unacceptable that she cannot explain how or why this happened.
