Useless staff in Section 8

My father was admitted to the Garden City Clinic the 19th January. He was suppose to be discharged on the 22nd january and taken to the Life New Kensington Clinic at 10:30am with an ambulance.

At 16H00 I went to visit him at the Life New Kensington Clinic and he had still not arrived and no one knew of his whereabouts. I then called the Garden City Clinic and the nurse in section 8 said that one of his relatives had called and said that they would pick him up and take him home and she had heard this via the pipeline. I never called the Clinic, as all had been arranged for him to go with an ambulance to the Kensington Clinic. They obviously confused another patient with my dad.

My poor father was sitting at the Garden City Clinic since the morning waiting to be taken to the next Clinic and no one had the decency to call me to find out what was happening. Poor customer service!

Finally he arrived at the Kensington Clinic at 19h00 at night and being a late a admission of course he got a terrible room. He was very unhappy.

How can they do this to a 72 year old stroke patient! Do the staff not listen when taking messages? Who is going to pay for the bill after discharge?
