I have been a Fedhealth member for 4 years and have been fobbed off the fund, unfairly! Also not allowed back on after requesting to pay my arrear payments.

I have been going through a disability process, and have been awaiting my insurance benefits. During this timeI failed to pay two instalments and my membership to the fund was cancelled. I received notification of cancelation as per my request, which I notified Fedhealth was not the case. I requested the arrear figure I to rectify my account and received no response from Fedhealth.

I phoned the call centre to explain the situation and was informed that should I complete a basic healthcare questionnaire, my membership would be reinstated, and the figure be supplied that i am in arrears with.

I received a sales call requesting me to apply for new cover as 90 days had lapsed since my auto cancellation, this in fact was not true as the end of the month was not yet reached.

Fedhealth never indicated until 2014 that my reinstatement was not successful due to committee decision, I contacted my broker which resubmitted again declined, I need to apply new and have no cover for my family.
Other funds will limit me as 90 days lapsed
