Very Irresponsible for a Medical Aid

I was shocked to find out, VIA sms and email might I add, that my services had been suspended. Now I am aware that the premiums go up annually, and despite the fact that I make payments on the 20th of each month, I was NEVER made aware of the increase. So, in a nutshell, my services were suspended for a mere R129. I am sure that this goes against CPA as I am sure that I need to be informed of increases, since it is my money?

When I call the call centre, I posed the question to the agent: What if something happened to me on my way to work? He said I would not have been covered. This is absolutely shocking! You are playing with peoples lives here!

i then asked the agent can he send me the notice that you provided for customers informing them of the increases and he told me that nothing was sent... Interesting way of running your business I think...

This is shocking... I'll be doing my research on other medical aids today, I don't see myself staying with such an irresponsible, health related, life depending company such as yours!
