Hosmed Medical Scheme
Increase in premium

My Brother Kingsley Malcolm Tooley joined the hosmed medical scheme with a income of 0 to R7000-00 per month which resulted in a premium of R700 and something after the annual increase it went up to R804-00 but the scheme deducted R1200-00 via debit order i want this matter resolved and the reason for this deduction from his account. Furthermore he was bitten by a spider over December and not one of hosmed's network Dr's were available and he had to go to a Dr not contracted to hosmed and had to pay the consultation and medication why does he pay a monthly premium for a medical aid if this is the kind of service he receives.
