I called BestMed on Fri the 29th December 2013 asking them to remove one of my dependants; the consultant told me I have to ask that in writing - either by mail or fax. As I didn't have access to that I said I'd do it on the 6th Jan as I was going back to work then. To my surprise the premiums had drastically gone up without any form of communication, nor notice. I then sent an email to [Email Removed] on the 6th Jan 2014, asking them to cancel my medical aid with immediate effect. Until now, it's been 7 days already no one has gotten back to me. When I call the call centre they tell me to write an email, but my emails are not being attended to. Client care does not exist in this medical Aid hence I want to end my relationship.
